The board of the chapter is a group of people that have official responsibilities. Elections for board positions are held every 6 months, but everyone can affect the chapter in their own way if they want to(i.e. planning events, chairmen positions, etc.). With that being said, here is the board for the Winter 2024-2025 Term:
Aleph Gadol – Roee Biluar
Hey! My name is Roee Biluar and I am currently serving as Gadol for Ramon. This term I hope to make the board as connected as ever, with regular meetings/hangouts with the whole board, where we will become even more unified. I also hope to push everyone to the furthest they can go with their positions this term, with constant check ins and feedback. My email is roee.biluar@gmail.com (but let’s be real who uses email anymore) so my number is +1 (669) 214-8294.
Aleph Sgan – Roy Kafri
I am Roy Kafri, and I have the privilege of serving as S’gan of Ramon AZA #195. My main goal this term is to create engaging, meaningful, and fun programming that strengthens our brotherhood and keeps every member excited to be part of this chapter. Whether it is a high energy event, a creative debate night, or a unique bonding experience, I want every Aleph to feel like they have a place here. If you ever have an idea for a program, want to get more involved, or just want to talk, feel free to reach out to me (My phone number is +1(650) 996-3289). Looking forward to an amazing term together, let’s make it unforgettable!
Aleph Moreh – Ido Nir
Welcome! My name is Ido Nir, and I am currently Ramon AZA’s Moreh. My goals for this term are obviously to recruit, retain, and educate members, but more than that, I want to give every member an opportunity to lead. There are many ways I want to do this, starting with creating chairmen positions (like the Machshev chairman who updates this website). Currently, I’m also focused on retention. Ramon has many members who pop in every few months or have gone somewhat inactive. I strongly believe that a lot of these people can become very active and connect to Ramon with the right push. In general, I also help plan PIT, AIT, and Inductions. Contact me if you know anyone in grades 8-12 who might want to join Ramon, have any questions, or need help with anything. My number is +1 (650) 283-9365 and my email is ido1nir@gmail.com.
Aleph Shlichim – Ophir Aloni & Tamir Kedem
Ophir Aloni: My biggest goal for the term is to plan fun and engaging events with other chapters to strengthen our regional bonds. If you want to contact me, text me at +1 (650) 660-7147
Tamir Kedem: I hope to foster connections to other chapters in the region through engaging Shabbat programs that allow us to connect to our Jewish culture. You can contact me through my phone number, +1 (408) 359-6624, or my email, tamirkedem@gmail.com
Aleph Gizbar – Yishai Shekel
Hi, my name is Yishai Shekel and I am Ramon’s Gizbar. My goal is to find the perfect balance between a fundraiser that makes money and a fundraiser that is fun . My phone number is +1 (650) 864-2362. I go to SPHDS and I’m currently in 8th grade. I also really like cheese.
Aleph Metaksher – Yuval Weissberg
My goals are to immerse families and alumni into Ramon AZA’s extended community. My email is yuval.weissberg@gmail.com and my phone number is +1 (617) 901-4596.
Aleph Mazkir – Noam Barak
Hi, I’m Noam Barak, the Aleph Mazkir. You can reach me at +1 (669) 241-5995. I recently joined the chapter and really enjoy it and want to be a big part of it, which is why I ran for Mazkir. As for my goal, I hope to build Ramon tradition and add to the business meeting structure for terms to come. Hopefully I can build a part of business meetings that people enjoy and will pass on as future Mazkirs. If you want to build a past minutes game with me, I’d be glad; just text me. Thank you!
Aleph Machshev – Tabled
This position is currently tabled, which means that there is no aleph that is holding it.
If there are problems, you can contact previous Machshev Alon Rabinowitz at (669) 200-8282 or alon.rabinowitz@gmail.com or Ido Aharon, the Machshev Chairman
Aleph Katav – Alan Leyfer
I want to bring newsletters back into the golden era, somewhere where people will enjoy writing to write and the prompts and enthusiasm behind it are at an all time high. I have already completed my major goal of the term, digitzing the newsletter, but there is more to do. Writing for the newsletter is as simple as making a paragraph and just sending it to me, so you should do that.
Contact Info: +1 (650) 933-8616 (no email because I don’t check it)
Aleph Historian Shotare – Omer Genud
I make an Instagram post every week summarizing all events and activities. At the end of the term I make a chapter yearbook. My e-mail is omer.g1322@gmail.com and my phone is +1 (669) 264-3226.
Aleph Kohen Gadol – Ethan Traister
